How to stream your internet radio? it's easy, there is free and open source documentation and software for it. Have a look:

    If your browser isn't configured properly, you have to open the stream directly in your favourite player, specifying the correct path to the stream, like "http://radio.dyne.org:8000/streamname.mp3"
    XMMS Example: Press CTRL-L, and write "http://radio.dyne.org:8000/ondarossa.mp3" in the dialog box to listen Radio Onda Rossa.
    Mplayer Example by command line: write "mplayer http://radio.dyne.org:8000/auroville.mp3" to listen Auroville.
